PUSH
The Debut Album from CRAM
Bio
Born in San Jose, CA no one, not even he, himself, would know the effect that music would have on his life. You see, Marc wasn't always in tuned with his musical persona. It was not until later in his life that he would discover his passion and love for creating music.
It started out with his thirst for knowledge. He stated,"I would often just go to the local record shop and just pick up any CD that was really cheap. It didnt matter if it was country, rock, world, etc. I just wanted to see and hear what people were making." That curiosity and thirst would soon lead to his passion for producing music himself. "It was a natural progression," he stated as he described his first experience with creating music. "I bought a burned copy of Reason (beat making program) and, at first, all I did was put together pre-made loops, It was pretty bad! (he laughs)" As time would progress he would perfect his craft; refining his technique by keeping an open mind and ear to learning more. As he was learning more about the producing world he would soon move on to writing songs. Inspired by the early works of his cousins, who had also rapped, he would listen and learn how songs were constructed. He would listen intently to some of his favorite artist and take note of their styles and usage of word play, to him all of this was addiction. Hearing words and rhymes used so cleverly was exciting to him and he eventually immersed himself in the world of music.
Today Marc is still making music and still has that same passion and love for creating music. His debut album, PUSH, is a culmination of work that best showcases his progression and uncanny ability to create quality music. The album evokes emotions of excitement, determination, and perseverance all of which contribute to extraordinary listening experience. Do not short yourself by opting not to take part in the PUSH experience. Be sure to listen to each track with an open mind and ear as he did when creating this unique project.
